I love the look of hanging cups. I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to do it in my kitchen with my builder-basic cupboards. The bottoms are thin, so the hook screws would go all the way through to the inside of the cupboard. But I love the idea, because it looks so sweet and would free up some cupboard space too!

    • Hi Lori,

I remember hearing from someone that these self adhesive utility hooks from the container store work pretty well: http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10000713&N=&Ntt=cup+hooks Might be worth a try! :)

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve actually tried those. The underneath of my cupboards isn’t smooth, so they wouldn’t stick. Fortunately, I found out they wouldn’t stick before I hung any cups from them!!! I think I’m going to have to attach a 1×4 board under the cabinets, so there’s something solid to attach to. I think with some construction glue and a couple of screws from inside the cabinet it might work…paint it white and no will ever know!
