Oh my goodness, what a week! It was seriously down to the wire getting everything ready and I could really go for a nap right about now, but I am so excited to share with you the final result!
If you’re new here, welcome! You can catch up on the weekly progress posts and get the full story with these links:
Are you ready for the reveal? A little reminder of what I started with:
Here’s what my living-dining room looks like now:
I brought in purples and blues with pillows, art, and other accessories. The fact that all the big pieces are neutral in color, makes the space versatile and will allow us to very easily switch out the colors whenever the mood strikes.
We also added a black vintage-inspired ceiling light fixture which was custom made by a fellow small business.
lamp | art – top left, top right, bottom right
pillows: purple textured, blue velvet, floral, navy zig zag
What do you think? I hope you love the space as much as I do. Thank you so much for following along and cheering me on throughout these past six weeks!
Big thank you to Linda, the creator and organizer behind the One Room Challenge, for including me this season. I enjoyed the journey and I am delighted with the result.
Big thank you also to my husband who helped me on weekends and evenings with most of the assembling, installing, hanging, etc.

A couple of months ago I shared a photo of my new home office on Instagram. Slowly but surely I’ve made some updates and while it’s not quite “finished” yet, I’m happy that it’s starting to take shape and no longer looks like an empty box. Here’s what it’s looking like currently:
While most things were carried over from my old office. I did bring in some new art, pillows, accessories and since this office is a bit smaller, a new rug. Also brought in the black ribbon edged curtains from our old bedroom – I love them in here!
Not sure yet if I want to add something in the corner, next to the Expedit. In the old office, I had bookcases on either side. They are now being used for closet organization.
The main wall is still pretty bare. I used the frames that I used to have in my old office, for a gallery wall around the TV in our new living room (photo of that coming soon), so I need to shop for some new ones. I haven’t decided yet though if I want to do a mix or all one color.
Be sure to follow along here or on Instagram for future updates! I’ll probably share our living room next.
Three years ago today I opened the virtual doors to the Arianna Belle pillow shop. At the time, we were in the economic recession, I was broke, and I didn’t really know what to expect. Despite the strong uncertainty however, I had an optimistic feeling that it was the start of something good. To test the waters I started very small, with just 6 pillow styles. Since then, the business has slowly but surely grown significantly with the help and support of my family, friends, entrepreneurial peers, and of course our wonderful customers who have have chosen to bring Arianna Belle pillows into their homes and/or incorporate them into a design project.
To celebrate the anniversary, we’re offering a 10% discount on everything, with code: ABT3YR (or if you’re a newsletter subscriber, check your email for a discount code to get an additional 5% off!)
Thank you so much for all your support! We are working hard to continue to improve the shop and can’t wait to share with you the results of what we have planned for our 4th year!
As mentioned in a previous post, earlier this month, Style Me Pretty Living, one of my favorite lifestyle sites, featured a tour of my previous home. Since the feature went up, I’ve received inquires about the sources of some things, so I thought I’d post a complete list here for anyone else who may also be curious to know. Because the apartment was a rental that we planned to live in for only about 2 years or so and we had other priorities financially, when it came to decorating and furnishing it, we did so on a small budget, splurging only on a few select pieces. BTW, this post from 2012 shows a few photos of what the place looked like when we first moved in!

Q: The base of my Docksta table gets dirty easily from people resting their feet on it, how do you keep yours clean?
A: Magic Erasers!
Q: How did you hide the wires and cords of your wall mounted TV in your living room?
A: We used these cable management covers we found on Amazon. I’ve also seen similar ones at home improvement stores.

I love seeing our pillows in their new homes. Julia of Gal Meets Glam decorated her living room with our Leopard Velvet and Channels Ebony & Ivory pillows. Love that she started with an inspiration board and made it come to life!
