My talented sister Patty of Parima Studio, just launched her Rose Collection of fine art prints, inspired by a trip we took to a rose farm back in May. I have loved being able to witness the development of it over the past few months and am so proud of her. She’s so talented and passionate about what she does, which I think shows in the end product.

My friend and San Francisco based interior decorator, Maggie of Maggie Stephens Interiors, recently finished up this beautiful bright living room for one of her clients:
Isn’t it fantastic? I love how she incorporated different high impact pieces (that rug!) without overwhelming the room. The mostly black and white palette makes the space feel very sophisticated and pulled together, while the accessories add color and fun (how cute are those gold pineapples?). See more photos of this living room here.
Love this pairing of our Leopard Velvet and Channels Ebony and Ivory pillows that Julia of Gal Meets Glam chose for her living room. A full tour of her beautiful San Francisco home is featured on Style Me Pretty Living this week.

Summery classic blue and white is one of my favorite combos. If you love these spaces, check out my post from earlier today on La Dolce Vita for more inspiration and a round-up of pieces to create the look.

I’m excited to be heading out tomorrow morning for a little weekend getaway with my husband for our 8 year anniversary of being together. It will be the first weekend in awhile in which I’ll truly be taking two full days off (no laptop to sneak in an hour of work here and there). We’ll be touring the Hearst Castle and exploring the nearby surroundings. From what I hear, it’s absolutely beautiful. I’ll probably be instagramming a few photos in case you want to follow me along!
Have a great one!
This long weekend, I’m excited to put together our bedroom. Here’s what I have planned for the decor:
As much as I’d love to get everything new, we aren’t starting from scratch – the majority of items are carried over from our previous apartment. The rug we previously had in our old bedroom, and the side tables and lamps are the ones we previously had in our old living room.
The main things that will make this bedroom look different than our last, will be the paint color and the bedding – both of which I think make a significant impact. For the wall color, we went with navy on the the two main walls, and a light grey on other two walls to keep it from feeling too dark. As for the bedding we’ve chosen a beautiful grey border duvet from Crane and Canopy and two new decorative pillows from my shop. I’ll be posting peeks on Instagram – I hope you’ll follow along!
